Skype x Mission 31 - Exploring Oceans with Fabien Cousteau
A two month long global education conference involving researchers, scientists, foundations, NGOs and professors, aimed at educating children about marine biology, the current state of the oceans and the effects of climate change.
Fabien Cousteau lived under the sea for 31 days, making Skype Video calls to lucky classrooms around the world to discuss his research, take questions and inspire the next generation of global citizens.
Mission 31 was just one of the partnerships I executed while leading the Skype in the Classroom program. Overall my role involved the following.

STRATEGY
I conceptualised content strategies based on insights and learnings from key influencers, and designed pitches  to sell ideas internally and help contributors envision the benefit of partnering with us.

UX DESIGN
I continually designed wireframes to speculate new user journeys and flows through the platform, helping to improve usability and demonstrate new functionality based on my ideas.

CREATIVE
I created campaign concepts to help drive our KPIs and propositions through meaningful content.

STORY TELLING
I drafted narrative arcs and wrote video treatments to help tell the story of our products living within the environment and lives of our chosen heroes and contributors, demonstrating product features, interfaces, usability and user benefits both authentically and convincingly.

PRODUCTION
From pre-production to delivery I oversaw the execution of all marketing content covering print, digital, film and photography. In film cases, this meant collaborating with directors; from writing treatments, developing sequences, photographic compositions, lighting and camera positioning, to copywriting, music composition and colour grading.

PRODUCT DESIGN
I oversaw and directed dedicated SITC design teams to deliver a fully responsive web experience across desktop and mobile.
